Andi Eigenmann beat me to it. For months now, our family had been taking 'baby steps' toward a minimalist life. My previous blog The Peso-Pinching Pinay chronicled these efforts. In a nutshell, we gave up our vehicle, decluttered, home-schooled our kids, did almost everything online, and now we are saying goodbye to the city rat race and most of its toxic inhabitants.
We are exchanging all these for a cottage industry (that will soon empower women in this town), a humble church membership of 20, a daily dose of seawater and sea breeze, nutritious foods, and tranquility. #Unplugged muna, living under the radar kumbaga 'cept me who will still be all over the place.

This isn't even the whole of Visayas yet, this is just Southern Leyte that I am featuring here. Everyday is an adventure here in our temporary home, from the waters, to the scrumptious meals, and even to the glaring presence of agriculture.
