Portrait of Quintina Castor de Sadie by Simon Flores Y De La Rosa. This oil on canvas is on loan to the National Museum of the Philippines by the Central Bank of the Philippines.
As one can see, this portrait shows an elderly woman. De Sadie belonged to the landowning class of Candaba, Pampanga.
We soon noticed that De Sadie's clothing had the same color and almost looked exactly like my daughter's blouse that day. So here's daughter who tried her best to mimic the elite look that Simon Flores depicted in his painting --
